gifts for new parents & babies...;-)

gifts for new parents & babies...

A week ago, we announced a collaboration with a wonderful group in the UK, From Babies With Love...

We suspect you may not know about them. But they're definitely someone worth adding to your store, if baby gifts & young parents are one of your niches.

Since 2013, they have been up to Very Big Things. (Which is why we said YES immediately to designing a collection for them):

...at From Babies with Love, we do things differently. Every penny of profit from our unique, ethically sourced designs goes to orphaned and abandoned children around the world...

This collaboration feels like the best of all possible worlds. The baby clothes are responsibly-sourced, beautifully printed, they're incredibly soft, & these gifts do an enormous amount of good for children...

It's been such a joy working with Cecelia (the founder), a fantastic woman who is doing good & true things at a time when the world needs it...

Because you can never have too many reminders for all of the children of the world that we're glad they're here...

Here's what you need to know if you're interested in carrying pieces for your store:

And if you'd like to see new art prints & cards at Flying Edna:

  • Since we had more stories & artwork than Cecelia could use, we created some new art prints & cards for our catalog. They were immediately popular with our retail customers, so we've added the new stories to our classic art print bundle & to our What's New Section, so click here if you'd like to take a look...

We know this is a busy time of year, but we hope you'll have a moment to take a look around...

wishing wellness & wonder,

kai & fia

what wants to come into your life now... a few of the ones you'll find...:-) Last week, after the first release of originals, someone asked me this: How can you let your work go so cheaply? she said. Doesn't it lessen the value of what you do?That question spun me around a bit. Because I thought it was obvious why I was doing it... But then I stopped: maybe it's obvious to me, but quite possibly Not At All Obvious To Anyone Who Is Not Me. HA. So, here's what I'd say about that: We all do it....

click here to go right to the originals at 2pm EDT. Saturday & Sunday. That's it. See what treasures you'll find... with love, kai

the unexpected gifts...:-) We run into this every year: little things we want to gift, unexpectedly... This year there's the now & then UPS backup driver, neighbors who already told us to keep an eye out for a holiday party invite & the giant St. Bernard next door who regularly exchanges barks with Yoshi... There are so many reasons to send along a card or a little something extra to people this time of year - to say thank you, we're thinking of you, or hang in there... the tricky thing is...
